As a mentalist, I’ve spent years studying human behavior, body language, voice patterns, and microexpressions—honing the ability to detect truth from deception. How Does It Work?
In my performances, I might ask five volunteers to come on stage. One of them holds a black stone; the others hold identical white ones. Each denies being the one with the black stone. Yet somehow, through a combination of observation, intuition, and psychological reading, I always find the “liar.”
Sometimes, I bring out a lie detector box—a whimsical contraption that “buzzes” when it senses fibs. But the truth is, the real lie detector is me.
