Today, I performed at a birthday party in Garnet Valley, PA, and as always, the energy was high, and the kids were full of excitement. After the show wrapped up, one brave young boy came up to me with a challenge. He asked, “Can I challenge you to do a magic trick?”
I couldn’t resist. “Sure,” I said, “What do you want me to try?”
His response: “Pull a $100 bill out from my ear.”
Now, when I was a kid, I would have been impressed if a magician pulled a quarter from my ear—so I guess times have changed, and $100 is the new magic standard! Without missing a beat, I asked him, “Which ear?” He pointed to his right ear, and just like that, I reached up and pulled a crisp $100 bill out of thin air. The look on his face? Absolutely priceless. He was speechless, and I’m sure that moment will stay with him just as long as it will with me.
